This will also happen without a fixed schedule, with kites appearing more often, but for shorter periods of time.
The KiteTails show was met with some laughs when it debuted in October. The huge kites pulled around the water by cast members on jet skis were good enough on their own. But when the show was over, kites landed on an unused portion of the stage seating, which, while intended, always looked like something had gone terribly wrong. Whether the ending was too bizarre, or the impressive kites themselves, many Disney World guests found the show to be at least magical even if it wasn’t on par with most shows at other parks.

The kites are really impressive to watch and this way anyone can see them flying near the water at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And they don’t need to take any real time out of their typical day to see it.
Ambient entertainment without a fixed schedule is becoming a larger part of Disney theme parks.
